Pixel Boat Rush is a frantic boat combat racing game! An easy to learn, hard to master, fun arcade racing game with loads of content! Featured by Apple countless times!

The gameplay mixes a one-touch racing mechanic with 2 weapon/defensive buttons. The progression features an in-depth career mode with RPG-like humoristic conversations with parodic characters, an endless mode and a boat crafting editor!

One-Touch Racing Mechanic:

Touch to accelerate, release to brake. Slow down on a wave to stick to it (bind speed requirement depends on the boat downforce, sometimes you have to slow down more). If you keep the gas pressed, youll jump off the waves. You can stick to water before the wave begins, but if you re-accelerate on a straight line, youll un-stick.

Releasing the gas while in the air will make you fall faster.

Obstacles and Power-Ups:

If air drag makes you quicker by staying on water, sometimes its best to jump. It could be for grabbing a power-up, avoiding an obstacle or a tricky set of waves.

Combat:

Fighting with opponent brings a whole new dimension to the game. It not only adds action, but also tactical aspects, which quickly becomes a key for victory. For instance, slowing down to get behind an opponent to avoid being hit and let him deplete his bullet on another boat.

Additional Tip:

- The acceleration button covers the whole right side. You can touch the bottom edge of the screen to avoid covering the action.

this game is awesome. well balanced, with multiple types of gameplay, hilarious jokes and character names. I can play it for hours. Also The in apps are tottaly uncalled for. IT is a SHAME this game is not gaining the attention it deserves. People are way too visual nowadays. All in all its a true gem.

I love this game! The music, the story, the complexity of the game...it fully worth 2$.

Needed a game for a long bus ride and stumbled along this gem. Spent hours on it and loved the unique customization! Keep the updates coming! (Ive already golded everything)

The game itself is surprisingly original, featuring a boat editor where you earn pixels in game to create your own boats with, each pixel color and rarity having a different effect on your boat. The game is quite underrated and makes me sad to see the lack of support for this game of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Hope the debs release some more updates, I would hate to see a game like this die. If anyone is looking for a game with guns, explosives, boats, and pixelation this is the game for you. If none of this things are attractive to you, Im sorry to say but your life is a sad one.

I cant put it down! The physics are amazing and I love the old-school feel to it.

Some bad moments

Look no farther, this is a great racing game! Fun and unique controls that work great once you get use to them. Upgradable boats, lots of races, and a fun and challenging experience.

Got to credit the company for this wonderful little game. Since hearing of this game via DoomFan on Twitter the screenshots and response from the devs really kept my interest up till the release date. What I like first off is that this game runs smooth on my iPod 4 with no issues given that a majority of the games these days support iOS 7 and up. Another thing I want to applaud the devs for is including Cloud Support so I can transfer my saves to my iPad and vice versa to my iPod 4. The gameplay is easy to catch on yet the races can get challenging as you level up. In a nutshell if you like 2D pixel racers that gets the job done, then look no further than PBR! Thanks Xperimental for this awesome lil game and hope nothing but good things for you all for this cool lil racer ;)

Seriously, this is exactly what I was looking for. One of the best mobile games Ive played in ages.

Tight controls, fantastic soundtrack, and a charming aesthetic, this is a fun and well made game that deserves your attention.

Can be played on short breaks or for the long haul. Challenging but fair. Excellent title overall, just get it ;-)

Very retro reminds me of my NES Im talkin bout the 8bit one! The gameplay is awesome its belong on the list of the best 8bit Games Ghost n Goblins Paper Boy Rad Racer. Get this side scroller!
